Privacy Policy
In short: Rosa's Florist has no accounts and no game server. Your progress is saved on your phone and in your phone's own backup. To keep the game free we show ads, measure how the game is played, find and fix crashes, and learn which ads brought players to the game, using the partners listed below. We never sell your personal information, and the game is not directed at children.
Who we are
Rosa's Florist is made and published by Tomáš Husár, an independent developer in Czech Republic (Bored Odin). We are responsible for the data described here. For any question about your data, write to support@boredodin.com.
What the game keeps on your phone
- Your progress (levels, coins, stars, the shop, settings) is stored on your device and copied to your device's own backup: iCloud key-value storage on iPhone and iPad, Android backup on Android, so a reinstall can restore it. We don't receive it.
- Purchases are handled by Apple or Google and checked on your device. The game keeps the store's receipt identifier on your device so nothing is delivered twice. We never see your payment details.
- Game settings tests: we try different game settings (for example how often help appears or how many coins a level pays) with groups of players, through Firebase Remote Config. Your group, and the version of downloaded game content you run, are recorded with your gameplay statistics. A test may also choose which offer you are shown; each offer has one price for everyone.
Partners and what they process
| Partner | Why | What |
|---|---|---|
| Google Firebase (Analytics, Remote Config, Cloud Messaging, Crashlytics) | Gameplay statistics, game settings delivered from the server, the push token for optional notifications, crash reports | App-instance identifiers, the advertising identifier (on iOS only if you allow tracking), device and app information, approximate location from your IP address, gameplay events and in-app purchases, crash logs |
| Google AdMob and its mediation partners: AppLovin, Liftoff (Vungle), Mintegral, Pangle, Meta Audience Network, Unity Ads, DT Exchange | Showing ads, measuring how ads perform, preventing ad fraud | The device's advertising identifier (on iOS only if you allow tracking; personalised ads only with your consent where the law requires it), the networks' own identifiers, device information, approximate location from your IP address, ads shown and tapped, diagnostics |
| AppsFlyer | Learning which ads or campaigns brought you to the game, and telling those campaigns which players stayed | The advertising identifier (on iOS only if you allow tracking), device information, the install, ad revenue, and a few game moments: reaching levels 10, 20 and 50, finishing the tutorial, watching an ad, and purchases (product and price). AppsFlyer passes these to the ad network that brought the install. |
| Apple and Google | Purchases and app delivery | As described in their own privacy policies |
Each partner's own privacy policy also applies to what it processes. Google explains its part at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
When each one starts
Gameplay statistics and crash reports (Firebase) start when the game starts. Ads and AppsFlyer wait: after level 3, Rosa explains why the game has ads, and where the law requires it (the EEA, the UK and Switzerland) you are asked through Google's consent form before any personalised ads. You can change your choice at any time in Settings → Privacy choices. Only after that does AppsFlyer start, and on iPhone and iPad the game asks for permission to track. The game works the same whatever you choose.
Legal bases (EU and UK)
- Providing the game and your purchases: our contract with you.
- Gameplay statistics, crash reports and game settings tests: our legitimate interest in keeping the game working and improving it.
- Personalised ads, ad measurement that needs your device's identifier, and AppsFlyer: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time in Settings → Privacy choices.
- Ads that aren't personalised: our legitimate interest in keeping the game free, and your consent where the law requires it for storing information on your device.
Your choices and rights
- Ads that give you a reward are always optional, and "Remove Ads" removes the others.
- You can turn off notifications in your phone's settings, and opt out of personalised ads in your phone's settings and in Settings → Privacy choices.
- You can reset or delete your device's advertising identifier in your phone's settings at any time.
- Depending on where you live (GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA and similar laws), you can ask for access to, correction or deletion of data held about your device, or object to its use. Write to support@boredodin.com. We hold no data of our own that names you, and our partners' data is tied to random identifiers of your device, so we will tell you how to find them and pass your request on.
- You can also complain to your data protection authority.
- Deleting the game removes the progress stored on your device and resets Firebase's app-instance identifier.
How long data is kept
Gameplay statistics and crash reports are kept only as long as we need them to run and improve the game, then deleted. Our partners keep their own data as their privacy policies describe.
Where data is processed
Our partners process data in the United States and other countries. Where data leaves the EU or the UK, they rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or similar safeguards.
Children
The game is intended for adults (18 and over) and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Security
Data sent to our partners travels encrypted (HTTPS). Your progress on the phone is protected by your device's own security.
Changes
We will update this page when the game's partners or data practices change, before that version of the game is released, and change the date at the top.
